Well Balanced Horsemanship was created as part of Flying L Stable, to assist horse enthusiast with natural horsemanship.
Located in Mount Dora Florida, the stable has provided youth & adult riding lessons, training and horsemanship coaching since 2014.
As an approved trainer with the Mustang Heritage Foundation TIP Program, the stable regularly provides gentled mustangs for adoption.
We specialize In Natural Horsemanship Training, using proven Neuroscience Based Applications to help horses learn to regulate themselves to remain calm, instead of reacting and utilizing adrenaline for safety. We combine this with Solid Biblically Based
Christian Training Practices for our horses and ourselves.
Growing as more faithful servants to Christ enables us to become
stronger and more consistent leaders for our horses.

Bret I want to publicly thank you for seeing me through, and past, a very private dilemma in my life.
12/4/2018 I took a horrific fall off Ace and my 50 years of riding confidence was totally shattered, actually lost. I contemplated putting him down the incident frightened me that much.
Clarence & I reached out to you for help and, boy howdy, you were there.
You had me start from the ground up but you made me get back on him…because you knew I HAD to.
You were careful with how we proceeded but firm in your resolve.
You listened to my fears then made me face them.
I honestly do not know where Ace & I would be today had you not taken time to guide me back to learning to be a better horseman.
2019 was the best year ever for us competing in Obstacle Challenges. He led the Nation in ACAAP Merits in Judged Trail Riding with the ApHC.
My personal life has improved (Clarence is healthy now) so Ace & I will begin competing in Obstacle Challenges again in 2022. Hope to see you soon!

"My drive and passion is encouraging and helping people develop an intimate, personal relationship with God, and to further their horsemanship through a better understanding of how horses think and respond.
I do this by using many Biblical foundations which support growing as more faithful servants to Christ in order to become stronger and more consistent leaders for our horses.
Through lessons, online training videos and courses as well as clinics, I guide horse owners and riders to develop a true partnership with their horse and realize, THAT IS what their horse wants and needs as well!
In doing this, I hope others will also realize that God wants a similar relationship with them, but we have to be willing to submit to His authority and correction to receive the blessings and gifts he wishes to give us. The most important one is the gift of Eternal Life!"
